Tesla is preparing to launch commercial robotaxi service in Las Vegas, with multiple gold-colored Cybercabs spotted in Southern Nevada and the company investing $3.1 million in infrastructure. Tesla has applied for an autonomous vehicle network permit from the Nevada Transportation Authority, which will undergo regulatory review, while the company simultaneously expands existing robotaxi operations in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
