Federal regulators consider rule change that could let Tesla Cybercab skip manual brake controls

The NHTSA is proposing to remove requirements for manual brake controls in fully autonomous vehicles, a change that would directly benefit Tesla's Cybercab and other purpose-built robotaxis.
