Samsung to Supply Camera Modules for Tesla’s Driverless Cybercab

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has secured a contract to supply camera modules for Tesla's Cybercab robotaxi, with mass production already underway. The initial order covers 20,000 to 30,000 vehicles, requiring 160,000 to 240,000 camera modules total, each equipped with 5MP image sensors for Level 4 autonomous operation.
